A rapidly-growing company based in Chessington are looking for someone with a strong mix of bookkeeping and administrative skills to join the team.
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000
The Role
- An experienced bookkeeper to control the day-to-day running of the company’s accounts
- Management of the sales and purchase ledgers and all monies received and payments made
- Producing monthly management accounts and nominal sales analysis, bank reconciliations etc.
- Dealing with queries and credit control via telephone and reminder letters
- Payroll
- Maintain the company’s ISO 9001 registration, in conjunction with a consultant
- Maintain and develop the company’s health and safety and procedures manuals
- Managing the company’s fleet of vans
- Helping out with other office-based tasks, as required
Key Skills/Experience
- Personable, enthusiastic and keen to be an integral part of a busy team in a small company
- As the sole book-keeper/accountant, this job will require a high level of responsibility
- Friendly and enthusiastic with a confident telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy is essential as is some exposure to Sage Line 50
- Keen to develop themselves and grow with the business over the coming years
- Good attention to detail
