An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Commercial Account Handler to join a busy and growing commercial insurance team.
This role is ideal for someone with previous insurance brokerage experience who is looking to further develop their career within commercial insurance in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will support the Commercial team with the management of client accounts, renewals, adjustments, and new business enquiries, while ensuring a high level of customer service and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing commercial insurance renewals and adjustments
- Processing new business enquiries and client documentation
- Liaising with insurers, clients, and premium finance providers
- Handling incoming and outgoing client communications
- Supporting claims and policy administration processes
- Working within FCA guidelines and compliance procedures
- Cross-selling insurance products where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records and diary management
- Supporting other departments when required
About You
- Previous commercial insurance brokerage experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Exposure to commercial products such as Commercial Combined, Liability, Motor Fleet, Property Owners, or Professional Indemnity
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner and sales awareness
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
Desirable Experience
- CII qualifications or willingness to study towards them
- Experience using Acturis
