A fantastic nursery are looking for level 3 nursery practitioner for a well-established and highly regarded nursery , dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We believe in the power of play and aim to create a setting where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. Our committed staff work together to ensure every child’s unique needs are met, setting them on the path to a lifelong love of learning.

Salary: up to £27,000

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive environment for our children. Your responsibilities will include:

Childcare and Development: Provide excellent care and support for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met. Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.

Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children, following all health and safety regulations and nursery policies. Administer first aid when necessary and keep accurate records.

Parental Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns or milestones achieved.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other nursery staff, sharing ideas and best practices, and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children’s development and daily routines, supporting the nursery’s observation and assessment process.

Requirements for Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Level 3 Qualification: Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education or an equivalent Early Years qualification.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.

Passion: Possess a genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with a commitment to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Creativity: Ability to plan and implement creative and stimulating activities to support children’s development.

Safeguarding: A thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
