About the Role
Our client is a long-established and highly regarded law firm in Yorkshire, providing expert legal services to individuals and businesses. The firm is known for its professional, approachable, and client-focused culture.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operational and financial management of the firm. This is a key role within the business, supporting fee earners and administrative staff to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of legal services.
The position is offered on a part-time basis with flexible home working, alongside occasional attendance at the Yorkshire office for meetings and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm and ensuring efficient workflows

Managing financial processes including billing, invoicing, budgeting, and cash-flow monitoring

Leading and supporting administrative and office staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management

Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards

Supporting strategic planning, business development, and process improvement initiatives

Maintaining high standards of client service and assisting with administrative client enquiries

Coordinating internal communications, meetings, and firm events
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or similar—ideally within a legal environment

Strong understanding of office administration, financial management, and HR processes

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Confidence working remotely while remaining a visible and engaged member of the team
