Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30–17:30

About the Firm

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices across London. The practice benefits from a strong and loyal client base and provides specialist legal services to both private individuals and commercial clients.

The firm is now seeking a talented Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused individual who wishes to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.


The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy while delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued growth of the department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties

  • Handling new build transactions, re-mortgages, and transfer of equity matters

  • Acting on registered and unregistered property transactions

  • Dealing with Help to Buy and shared ownership matters

  • Advising on lease extensions and related work

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other professionals

  • Working closely with colleagues, including the Private Client team

  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures


The Candidate

You will be a confident Residential Conveyancer with:

  • 1–3+ years PQE in residential conveyancing

  • Strong knowledge across the full range of conveyancing transactions

  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently

  • Excellent client care and communication skills

  • A proactive approach to networking and business development

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities

  • Professional, personable, and approachable manner

  • Ambition to progress within a growing firm


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of residential property law and practice

  • Experience managing multiple files with minimal supervision

  • Clear communication with clients, agents, and lenders

  • High attention to detail in drafting contracts and reports

  • Strong problem-solving skills for title and transaction issues

  • Effective time management and organisational skills

  • IT proficiency, including experience with LEAP or similar systems
