An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established and highly respected regional law firm with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to both businesses and private clients.
This is the perfect role for an ambitious Paralegal looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative team, working alongside experienced legal professionals on a varied and interesting commercial property caseload.
The Role
Working within a busy Real Estate department, you will provide support to experienced solicitors and partners, assisting with a broad range of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with a varied commercial real estate caseload.
- Preparing legal documentation including contracts, leases, licences and completion documents.
- Undertaking Land Registry searches and applications.
- Drafting legal correspondence and documentation under supervision.
- Managing transaction files throughout the conveyancing process.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other legal professionals.
- Carrying out property due diligence, title investigations and searches.
- Preparing completion statements and handling post-completion matters.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.
- Providing general support to the wider Real Estate team as required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant within either Commercial Property or Residential Conveyancing.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- A proactive approach with excellent client care skills.
Desirable experience includes:
- Commercial Real Estate experience.
- Familiarity with Land Registry procedures.
- A Law degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification (or currently studying towards one).
