Overview

Our client is an industry-leading commercial office refurbishment, office fit-out, & office design company.  They are now looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to join their busy team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work within the Projects Team to survey and estimate the cost of projects and provide accurate and well thought out proposals.  You must be commercially aware with excellent client liaison skills as you will be an integral part of our Contracts Team. The role will be based at our Aldershot Office.

 

Key Skills

  • Experience of estimating projects within the Commercial Fit-Out/Construction sector.
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and positivity within our team and with our clients.
  • Confident communicator.
  • High attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel together with knowledge of design software (Autocad) would be an advantage.

 

Responsibilities

  • Measure and take off quantities from drawings/specifications
  • Attend site visits to prepare valuations
  • Ability to deal with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Cost reporting back to Project Directors
  • Raising and submission of Quotations and Variations
