Salary: negotiable plus bonus scheme
The Role
They are fortunate to benefit from a solid team of talent comprising some of the best Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession. They are continually expanding and are now seeking
to develop that team further by the addition of a Crown Court Litigator. he successful candidate shall be expected to prepare and litigate complex and serious crime cases before the Crown Court along with managing a heavy caseload. The role shall also require police station attendance. This is an extremely challenging and demanding but rewarding role.
The Person
The most suitable candidate should ideally have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, be able to work with minimum supervision, use their own initiative and be self-disciplined. The successful candidate must be a robust individual. The nature of criminal defence requires considerable mental dexterity. It regularly involves working unsociable hours: evening and weekends to represent suspects detained at the police station and
balancing competing demands. Accordingly, this role requires an individual who is entirely committed and dedicated to criminal defence, takes pride in their work and is passionate about what they do and the results that they achieve. The candidate must be PS accredited and will be on our out of hours rota.
