This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and early years education

Salary: from £24,000 depending on experience and qualifications

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care and development of children aged five months to four years in a warm and nurturing environment. The nursery is divided into 3 departments: Baby room, toddlers room, preschool room

Their role will include:

  • Assisting in planning and delivering engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social skills
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
  • Supporting children’s personal development, including hygiene, meal times, and routines
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interactions
  • Working closely with experienced early years educators to implement best practices
  • Ensuring the nursery environment remains clean, organised, and well-maintained
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and care in line with regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
  • Experience working with young children in an early years setting (desirable)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
  • Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

They are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, and the successful candidate will work 40 hours per week within these hours.
