A rapidly-growing company based in Battersea are looking for a talented and experienced social media marketing professional to join their team.
Salary: Negotiable DOE
The Role
- Oversee all social media accounts for the company’s key brands
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts
- Ensure content is targeted to increase audience engagement and brand recognition and to drive traffic to the websites
- Work closely with editorial team to ensure existing online content is promoted effectively on relevant channels
- Co-ordinate messages and priorities from editorial, marketing and sales departments to ensure an effective, engaging balance
- Inspire and respond to comments and questions from users to boost engagement and foster a community
- Develop and manage additional platforms, such as Facebook groups, to encourage our audience to engage with us and one other, and to source ideas for future content
- Analyse and report results from all social media channels, including followers, engagement, web traffic and return on any ad spend
- Create reports on competitor social media activity
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities for social media and online content
- Work closely with external clients to ensure any sponsored content adheres with our brand guidelines while also meeting the needs of the client
- Monitor and react quickly to changes in social platforms, apps, trends and user behaviour
- Proofread online and social content to ensure it is accurate, grammatically correct and consistent in tone
Key Skills/Experience
- Degree in relevant area, e.g. journalism or marketing
- Extensive professional knowledge and experience of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Proficiency and experience using content management systems
- Proven working knowledge of SEO
- Experience of creating reports for both social media and websites
- Experience of planning and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns
- Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
- Interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills
- Experience in video production and/or editing not essential but would be a plus
